The best way to disseminate your thoughts and get accepted as a scientist is through publications. The peer-review process and publications are important for self-improvement and for the advancement of medicine. Young orthopedic resident would initially get attracted to review the articles and case reports to improve scientific knowledge. However, later on one needs to do primary research, which needs clinical practice, a formal training in research methodology and commitment. This would generate new ideas and pave way for framing good hypothesis. Generating evidence for or against the hypothesis advances scientific knowledge. Opinions should be shared, arguments should be faced, and ideas should be perpetuated for the advancement of science. Any brilliant idea kept in one's own mind is worthless. It will take its natural toll.

The rapid pace of advancement of medical science makes it imperative for each medical scholar to attend scientific meetings to learn from other colleagues and to share one's own ideas and knowledge. This would help the professional ti keep abreast with the current developments and knowledge.

A researcher's contribution to his field is evident through his publications and can be an incentive for research grants and to get oneself noted. Excellent ideas would change the medical practice and help the patients get past their agonies.

Ideally, clinical practice and scientific research should go hand in hand.

A reliable, organized, and consistent team would form the back bone of research. A healthy competition help in maintaining a constant pace in research as well as to come out with newer ideas. A quality research portrays our clarity of thoughts and gives a chance for life-long learning and improvement. Peer-reviewed published articles are evidences and can be used for the treatment as well as to persuade the medical community.

For publications you need a sharp mind with your thoughts organised. Organization of one's thought is the most important factor in disseminating our ideas and publications. Amid busy clinical practice, one need self-discipline, time management and an inquisitive mind to pressure research as a habit. You may spent a significant time of your life to peep into the intricacies of the areas of your interest. Make your life enjoyable and worth lived.
